PRESS REVIEWS
“The audience bursts into peals of laughter at the antics of the clown, but is always aware of the sadness of character.  One is awed by the artistry of Gallegos, who, without saying a work, is capable of producing simultaneously mixed feelings”.
Willy O. Muñoz KENT STATE UNIVERSITY (U.S.A)

“An exquisite performance…every inch of his boy is a tool for transmitting and, in Plush, Gallegos delivers.  A spectacular performance that had the audience out of their seats in an overwhelming standing ovation”.
LA REPÚBLICA Newspaper (Spain)

“Plush is an emotional clown !  The taste of realism within the clown’s outpourings can’t help but remind us of Chaplin films.  Call all clown lovers and fans of nostalgic silent film:  He comes from afar, this great talent in his little bubble”.
LE CLOU DANS LA PLANCHE (France)

“Gallegos creates a naïve, very tender and playful character that makes the audience smile and laugh with his adventures during the 60 minutes of his show.  This mime has traversed five continents during seven years with his admirable work.  Carlos Gallegos, with Plush and pantomimic work, lives up to the teachings of his master Jacques Lecoq”.
Víctor Bogado XXI Temporales Teatrales (Chile)

“A show without words but which resonates with thousand sounds of life and travel”.
RUE DU THEATRE (France)

“An artistic strength that speaks for itself [...] His acting borders on perfection”.
EL APUNTADOR (Ecuador)

“Everyone watches attentively and applauds.  Yes, because although there is only one person on stage during one hour, it’s about a big team with a sense of humor, and all that is beautiful in the human being, profound and simple at the same time”.
Malena Oliveira LA JIRIBILLA (Cuba)

“A crazy talent […] imagine a Charlot. A Groucho Marx reduced to his mustache. A Buster Keaton naive and smiling. Behold Plush”.
LE CLOU DANS LA PLANCHE (France)
SYNOPSIS
Plush doesn’t want to say anything – in fact, he doesn’t say anything.  His life as a circus artist is in decline and elapses into the daily silence that comes from loneliness. Plush says nothing and he does not really do much:  what he does is in permanent conflict with nature and technology. Plush says nothing, he doesn’t really do much except a lot of dreaming.   He dreams of grand oceanic voyages, going far way by sea, away from his miserable home until he finds a paradise island where everything is possible – except the loneliness.
